The QHSE Management System (QHSE-MS) program is developed throughout the Ouais Group 's organization as part of our normal planning cycle and reflects the different responsibilities of the various management levels. This program shall be regularly reviewed and controlled by the Ouais Group 's Management.
The Manual model is structured based on the OGP model and is in full compliance to BSI – OHSAS 18001:1999, which is the accepted industry standard.
The QHSE Management System model comprises of six (6) interrelated components, which are:
- Commitment and Leadership (Including Policies & Objectives)
- Organization, Responsibilities and Resources
- Risk Management
- Planning and Procedures
- Implementation and Monitoring
- Assessment and Continuous Improvement
These main 6 components are continuously improved by conformance checks:
- On day-to-day standards and procedures (controls),
- On the management system (correction),
- And through modifications to the Management System (improvement).
2) EMS
The adoption of a unified management system that addresses the Environmental element of our QHSE-MS system is a strategic decision of Ouais Group Management.
A proactive approach to Environmental Management and Protection is good business. It leads to greater efficiency; a more healthful workplace; and reduced accidents, pollution and waste. This produces value for our clients, employees, and the communities where we work and live in.
The purpose of this Environmental Management System (EMS) is to describe how Ouais Group demonstrates its commitment to protecting the environment with compliance to the ISO–14001:1996 standard.
The EMS is considered as an extension arm to the QHSE Management System. And is developed similar in structure to the QHSE-MS Manual to ensure the ease understanding of our employees to the system. In addition, it completes the QHSE Management System (QHSE-MS) so that the E (Environment) element is fully integrated into the QHSE–MS.
